I recently visited Australia Zoo which is approximately a 2 hours drive from the Gold Coast and 45mins from Brisbane - With a rather cool winters day which totally took me by surprise, it was a great day spending some time here as the last time i did there was torrential rain and i didn't see anything apart from the rain drops falling on my head.
